there are new capacities coming online in Asia, strengthening the concerns about long supplies. Map Ta Phut Olefins is set to bring a 900,000 tons/year steam cracker, located in Thailand, in March while Shell Chemicals is going to start up a 800,000 tons/year cracker in Singapore in the same month.
