The methanol output is expected to increase obviously to more than 100,000 tonnes in April as the lifting operating rate at 30%. The most increase output will be central at Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia and southwest regions. There are also some new plants to be built in the second quarter, XinAo Gas Development Co.,Ltd will start up its new 600,000 tonne/year methanol plant in May in Inner Mongolia, Hulunbeier Dongneng Chemical Co.,Ltd will test its 200,000 tonne/year methanol plant in the second half of April, Datang International Power Generation Co.,Ltd plans to operate a trial run at its 1.68m tonne/year methanol plant in June, but its main methanol product will be used for their own 460,000tonne/year propylene unit.
